Securities companies registered 113,875 new domestic trading accounts during March, breaking the record set in January of 86,107, according to the Việt Nam Securities Depository (VSD).
The number of trading accounts rose by 260,000 to reach nearly 2.2 million as of the end of 2018, according to the Vietnam Securities Depository (VSD).
In the first half of this year, nearly 3,000 investors were exposed for
using at least two trading accounts to buy and sell shares in a single
session, which was forbidden by law, according to the State Securities
Commission (SSC).
